Hi Bellbells

just want to check in to give you a big :hugs:.

To be honest it is hard to keep positive while TTC, Esp during the 2WW when there is really nothing you can do but I try to check in to BH - catching up with all the girls here is great and even though everyone is going through the same thing it's a good distraction from my own thoughts, iykwim. I also try to plan something nice to do towards the end of my cycle so that I have something good to look forward to. DH is on board aswell so he's being extra sweet at the moment - taking me out for nice dinners, away for nights - or just giving me good hugs when i need them.

I suppose the key is to keep busy!!

Good luck and :fingerscrossed: for your :bfp:

Bellbells :hugs: One positive thing about TTC is being part of a community like this. Sounds super cheesy but there are heaps of great people on here that will help and support you through what can be pretty trying times.

You posted in the endo thread and I remember you mentioning you had a DS (sorry if i am wrong :o). Come join us in the TTC #2 thread. It always full of positive vibes :goodvibes:.

Otherwise I really don't know what to say. It can be hard but it will all be so worth it in the end.

:hugs: Sarah

:iagree:, come join us in the ttc#2 thread....it really does help making connections and friendships with others going through the same things...they will cry with you and rejoice with you. In the end, you will have good days and bad days. As long as you can get yourself thru the bad days (chocolate and movie, hanging out with a friend, etc), the good days will follow. I find I always get REALLY down when I start af (as is to be expected), but after a day or two, Im back to being optimistic about the next cycle. Its funny this journey of ttc...but share it with others and the load is lifted somehow. I have made such wonderful friends on here...I have one lovely friend coming up to Sydney from Adelaide next March, and I may be going down to Melbourne to visit a couple of other friends from the Hub. They will be "lifers" some of them I feel....:hugs:

Thanks girls,
yes I will come jump on the TTC#2 thread, Ive read a bit on it. I have felt a little different the last couple of days just reading others threads and knowing we arnt the only ones. Hubby and I just read through the list of ppl TTC and there are a lot of you on there and for longer than us too. I guess we are very lucky to have our beautiful DS and yep we just gotta keep trying.

Im always positive in the 2ww, its when AF arives i come undone but stupid as it sounds I stay positive by being negative, let me explaine. Every month that AF arrives I look at when the baby would have been due (this month it would have been Feb) and I realise that Feb for me would be a horrid month to give birth due to it being the last month of summer and it would have meant that I would have to be pregnant ALL thru summer, which Ive done once and would prefer not to do again. Ive always wanted a winter baby and by the time it gets to a month where I would again be having a summer baby I figure ill be so desperate I wont care :)

I would also suggest you join the TTC #2 thread - its a great thread with fabulous chicks all very supportive. Particularly held together by some VERY attentive and regular posters (you know who you are) who are the gurus on all things charting and are ALWAYS there if you need some cheering up!

I find that positive reinforcement very helpful even though I am not always the most regular poster.

Just recently - on our gurus (Haylie) got the great news of a BFP. Couldn't have happened to a kinder and more well deserving person.

I find these stories very positive as well - it reminds that it WILL happen....

SO good luck and come join us
