*shock* Had to share!

I have had a few issues with my Mum since ds was born, mostly that she thinks the things I do are funny... but we had a breakthrough, she was asking thoughtful question about why I use mcn's (as she thought cloth nappies was the height of drudgery when I was little), so I showed her a few and she said have you got any new ones and I said no, I have 3 on layby though. So this morning she gave me $50!!! And insisted I take it to put on the layby of nappies as 'it was a really important thing I was doing' :yelclap::smiliedance:So happy, not even really about the money but that she was so nice about it!!!
I have such a little stash that the extra 3 are big time needed!!!! Yay! Had to share :cloud9:

my mum too doesnt really approve of my choices that i make with raising my DS and also those i am making in my pregnancy.

I hear ya! She actually laughed when I told her I was using cloth, she thought it was silly and I would soon get over it :rolleyes: And all the other things I do with ds, but she is slowly getting the idea that she is the granny now, and I'm the Mum :yes:
And I am totally excited, I was at placement this morning buzzing from it lol

What a sweet thing for her to do! My mum is so impressed with MCN's every time she sees them she has to recall the days when my bro and I were in nappies and always had rashes and leaks and she had to change us constantly. She thinks I am crazy for buying so many though!! But I just can't help myself!

My mum was one of the main people pushing me to use cloth, she hates disposables! I have been using terry flats for ages, but I'm starting to get a little stash of MCNs (only 4). Mum loves them too, and can't believe that everyone doesn't use them!
