The Mater vs NSPH (Sydney)

I had my 11 month old at The Mater - North Sydney and had a great experience but now thinking I might try North Shore Private Hospital (my obyn does both hospitals).

Has anyone had experience's in both, if so what one did you prefer or are both as good as each other? Or for those who have had their bub at NSPH what was your experience like?

I had both my boys at NSPH. My first time was good. Second time round (two months ago) was excellent. Jacob arrived at a busy time so we had to stay in another ward for two nights and moved back into the maternity ward thereafter. The nurses were fantastic and very helpful. My friends who went to Mater were happy as well so I don't think you can go wrong. Maybe we had the same ob as mine also delivered at both hospitals. Best of luck

I had both my kids at RNSP,..and loved it! I am booked in to deliver #3 there in about 4weeks time:)

Who is your Ob? Mine delivers at both RNSP and Mater also..

I think most of the ob's who deliver at NSP, deliver at The Mater as well.
