Fluffy mail - newbie questions

I just received my first baby beehind bamboo in the mail today - very excited, it is just soooo soft - i was actually really suprised!

Now i have to wash before using, which then deflates the excitement, oh well.

Question though - i've read lots of posts about the different "layers" used in mcn - whats the difference btn prefolds, microfibre, boostes etc?

Will I need to add more to my BBB for night use? or will it be OK as is? Will I need to add a microfibre layer as well? This is where I get confused. I've also got a couple of iish fly coming so I don't know if I will need to do the same for them?

Also just reading in the BBB brochure - wash 3 times before use - do you have to dry between each wash, or just wash again when they are still wet?

i dont know what everyone else does but i was so eager to use them i just washed 3 times and didnt dry in between:D

by the way the BBH nappy comes with the short and long booster which were fine for night time till they get older and do bigger wees! Then you could boost it with something else or invest in a special night nappy. Good luck!

:iagree: no need to dry in between i just threw all mine in, boosters ect in coloursafe loads :)

So far we dont need to boost at night as yet :) and bubs is 6 mths
