We will be there! minus Tillie as she is in daycare that day...just thought I would spread the word as I think it a wonderful thing to be happening :)

Hi,

are there any fifo mums north of the river who might want to get together or start a fifo playgroup ? Me(butler) and 2 fifo mums(belmont) are wanting to set something up.
Whether we meet in a park or at home(when it isn't trashed..) once a week, love to hear from you (even if you have some tips)

Belmont area is not far from me but with out a car butler is just too far away.
Id be interested if it was something in the inner north.

Hi,

I'd like to meet other FIFO mums, I'm in the Karrinyup area (still getting myself familiarised with the suburbs) if that suits anyone?

hi mums,

it's been a little while since my last post re fifo mums meet/playgroup. It looks like we might have to settle for a central place/park around Perth as we're all spread out over town.
If we can pick a regular day, then we can organise something especially as the weather is clearing up :sunshine:. I am in Butler and don't mind driving, maybe if we go 1 week south of river, the next week north of river ?
If there is a need for official FIFO playgroup, we'll have to stick to 1 suburb unless we visit in each other houses(or nearby park/beach).
Anyway let me know your wishes, so we really can get something of the ground.
DH is back wednesday night, so relieve and help is on the way as I am about to :hair: with my tigers who are now sound  leaving me to clean up the mess as you do on a saturday night .

Hope to hear from you soon

Hi all,

Westketeers, I like your idea about finding somewhere central and making it a regular thing. If weekly is too much, perhaps it could be fortnightly?

I'm also happy to travel if I have to, even though I have no idea still about suburbs, DH bought me a GPS so I can get around and I have to admit, I do love it!

Not sure how we go about arranging something through the forum and the only suggestion I have about where, would be the kids playground at Kings Park. I've been there, but otherwise I'm not familiar enough with places to make a suggestion.

:fingerscrossed: this gets off the ground.

hey ya everyone. Im new here. My partner is a fifo and we've been doing it for bout 10 months now. I live close to the airport in perth but havnt met that many people with partners working away. Do any of you know of a playgroup for families of fifo's. I've got a 3 year old and a 1 1/2 year old and i think they need the interaction just as much as me
