Hello :)

We are coming to the UK in a couple of months for a 3 week holiday and will be staying with my DH's family in Cheshire and North Wales.

We will be doing a lot of walking as his family is very active and so I am going to buy a pram when we get there rather then cart my unsuitable one over.

My question is where can I get a cheap but sturdy pram which will be suitable for possible field walking (rambling?). Also, does anyone have any recs on which pram to get?

Many thanks. The excitement is starting to build but I'm also starting to stress about these details!

Hi!

Try www.mothercare.com (http://www.mothercare.com) they have stores all over and a mixture of cheap or expensive prams.

If you need a sturdy pram for treking a 3 wheeler comes to mind, I would look into the Quinny range.

Hope this helps!

HI Have you ever thought about using a back pack instead. I have got my 20m onth old son into an ERGO www.ergobabycarrier.com (http://www.ergobabycarrier.com). The best thing ever!!! I live in the middle east, so travel quite a bit. They are brilliant for the plane, for shopping... for walking up hills EVERYTHING. He loves it so much, he snuggls down and goes to sleep when he is tired. On the other hand, also have a Quinny.. They are Very good. Would advise you on the Buzz over the Zapp www.quinny.com (http://www.quinny.com). Then your lil one is able to lay back and go to sleep if needs be. But Def think about the back pack.. No muddy wheels to think abou, and both you and your hubby can share the load. Hope this helps!! Good luck . P.S.OOHH didnt see you were in Perth. Ok If you are keen on the (ergo, or Quinny for that matter) I got mine from Babyland in Osbourne Park.. They were awesome with the ergo. Put it on me so I could try it out. Very helpful!!!

Thank you!

I really like the Quinny prams and yep I was thinking a sling of some sort would be handy for the more rugged walks.

Can't wait to get my hands on some Tunnocks bars and those Monster Munch pickled onion crisps...oh and to see family of course :D
