I've got a script for the minipill but I'm really not keen on taking it. I've heard from a few hubbers that it can mess with supply.
What are my other options? I don't want anything too permanent (like Deporavera). How effective is bf as a contraceptive?
I'm also thinking of just using the Billings Method.

Well, to answer your question, I have 5 children, 3 of which were conceived whilst I was breastfeeding! So go figure!!!

Breast feeding is not very reliable I think you have to feed every 3-4 hours for it to be reliable...my SIL tried it and she got pregnant again when her first was 4 months!

Bf is no way a sure method of contraception - I know of quite a few people who got pregnant much sooner than planned because they thought they wouldn't get pregnant.
Billings method can be helpful, but also not a sure way of contraception either.
I didn't want to go on the mini-pill either so we used condoms until I got my period back and it got into a regular cycle. Then used the billings method and when I thought I was fertile we just used condoms them - still a bit risky, but it worked for us.

Not very reliable, i fell pregnant at 5 weeks i think when i was BF my third, every 2 hours mind you.
Can you use the nuva ring? Not sure if you can while BF otherwise i think the only alternative would be condoms at the moment.
I found the pill didnt affect my supply as such, it made me angry, even the mini pill....therfore causing my supply to dwindle, it was find when i stopped though.
