I'm English and living in Australia..
The way we make Yorkie Puds is:
Using a coffee mug.
1 mug of Plain flour
1 mug of half water/ half milk
1 Egg
1 dessert spoon of salt
1 Muffin tin
Preheat oven to 180c.
Mix the ingredients listed together, stand for 10 mins. Loads of air needed will make it rise.
Put muffin tray in oven with a teaspoon of oil in each cup.
When oil is bubbling add mix to the tin.
Cook till they look risen and golden in colour.
Will make 12.

Make sure the oil is smoking hot when you put them in - secret to good yorkies :) (I am from and English background and I lived in Yorkshire for 7 years.)
