Hey all.

Well , today DD,DS and myself ended up in a brilliant educational supplies store in Bunbury(Woolridges),to take a peek at what was there.
It was fabulous!!
We walked out with "a few items";) and DD wanted to get started straight away. She was so excited when we gave her the option to either go to kindy or have Mummy teach her.Guess you've worked out what her choice was:yes: .No hesitation.
We did some activities in a couple of her books and she loooved it.:yelclap:
Problem was that she didn't want to stop! I worry about trying to get her to do to much but I can see that the real worry will be finding enough for her to do.I don't want her to go too hard too soon. She is just so eager to learn, which is fabulous, but will I be able to keep up with her?
I'm so glad we made this decision and I'm definately feeling that it is the right one.
Although, I must admit to being a little nervous:p but I guess that's normal...Right?

Yay...glad you are off to a good start! It is very exciting!

The first year or so is pretty much trial and error and working out where your children and you are at.....just go with the flow and after awhile you will get a real sense of what you are supposed to be doing, how she learns and what works and what doesnt....you'll be great!!:hugs:

I have homeschooled my little yvonne for a few days. I have the same experience as you! :DI study and have fun with my Yvonne.:hugs: Everyday I teach her math, reading, science, etc according my plan. Weekly, I guide her to do some cool exercises on beestar.org. She loves it and finishing these exercises in short time makes her so happy. When her name appears on the honor roll, she is so excited and scampers about yelling “mum, mum, I’m on the honor roll!” :laughing:My Yvonne is so sweet!:smiliedance:

Hi luvbnamum! Nice to meet you, too.

You just need to roll in beestar as a parent and then you can use the exercises. The math is free, others need some fees. It’s convenient and interesting.

My Yvonne is 6. Yesterday, Yvonne and I had a little competition when we do the math exercises on beestar. There were 2 exercises. We did 1 respectively. And certainly I used less time and I won. My Yvonne said “you’re mum, so you win.” So funny!

How about you? There are definitely some interesting stories. :yelclap:
