Hi there

To introduce myself, we are about to adopt a child from Korea. He is 9 weeks old at the moment and beautiful of course!!

I am looking at buying the `Jeep Liberty' 3 wheeler stroller. It looks really good - smooth to push, almost as small as a normal pram, big basket underneath... Has anybody had any experience with this one?

Anybody input would be really appreciated. I am finding all this shopping for `equipment' difficult as our baby will be 5-6 months when we pick him up. I certain as to what size he will be so that influences what baby carrier I use etc!!!

Hi,
We have a jeep cherokee 4 wheeler which is awesome, we found it was actually lighter than the 3 wheelers we looked at. It has a huge basket under great for shopping) one hand fold down, the front wheels can be locked in place or stay on free movement which is good for 'off roading' which is helpful with walking / exercie and outings. It has that cool tray on front (with steering wheel) and personally I love the cup holder son top for Mum. We chose this one because we knew it would last a long time age wise. Our daughter is almost 5 months and I've seen toddlers in them. It's also one of the lightset prams on the market which was important to me because I havn't the best back and wanted some thing light for the growing weight of my wee one.

Hope this helps. J. :)

Hi there

Just thought I would let everyone what I did end up buying. It is a Steelcraft Terrain Deluxe (3 wheeler). We didn't end up getting the Jeep because it wouldn't fit in the boot of our car (a Subaru RX).

After all my researching of the different brands, brand didn't matter. It came down to what would fit in the boot but I felt could fall back on my background research to make an well informed decision.

It was interesting to go to the a shop that has just recently opened and of course they have all new stock and updated models. Some of them only have a slight change but I feel most of them are getting smaller and narrower wheelbases so that they can fit through gates/supermarket checkouts etc.

Cheers
