Toowoomba

I am looking for some info, and views on living in toowoomba for a friend. her and her bf have decided they want to move there and they have 2 young childre, one with special needs. What are the health services lik there? Living expenses? Etc... I am not sure exactly what she wants to know, but can anyone give me any info?

umm Im about to move there, the public hospital is pretty ok, I guess normal for a public hospital(waiting times etc) they do have a great early intervention program for special needs kids I know the lady who runs it, I can PM you her number if you want. The rent is ok, though there are quite a few expensive areas being built lately yo can still fond some good houses for decent prices. There are 2 coles & 4 woolies plus 2 IGAs I think & way too many maccas(isnt that the case everywhere LOL) most of the schools I have looked into are good, though the private ones get very expensive. Um thats all I can think of right now?
