Hi everyone! Well, i was wondering what everyone thought about faint positive lines on hpt's.

At about 1am this morning i did a hpt (brand was first response), didnt think anything would come up on it as I'm only 10dpo and af not due for another few days, but couldnt help it an caved and tested.

ok, so within one to two minutes of the time frame i could see a really faint pink second line. My Dp could see it too, tho he holds no faith in hpt's and told me to not get my hopes up, but agreed that he could definately see a second line. Does that mean its a BFP???

My worry is its so FAINT, you can hardly see it, i took a photo but it didnt come up on the pic, so my question is, does a faint line count? it was pinkish in colour, but so so faint. Has anyone used the brand "first response" before? is it a trusted brand of hpt?
How often has anyone had a faint positive line that was wrong?
thanx in advance, this is doin my head in, i'm no good at patience, :banghead: , though i will retest tomorrow,

yeah hold it at arms length, if you can see it its positive:D
i used pregnosis, mainly because i prefer blue lines, so much more easier to see if its light. but so obvious when its dark, do another one tomorrow and see if its darker.:yelclap:

I'd say you are!!! With ds and this pregnancy I tested on the day af was due and got a very, very faint lines both times and both times were with first morning wee too. Both times I got df to double check as i thought I was imagining things, but he saw it too! As everyone else has said - a line is a line!

I agree with the others, although its faint, it is most possibly positive!

When i fell pregnant i did two tests.

The first one was very faint, and then a couple of days later i did it again, and it was clear as crystal....i was pregnant!

So you just may have a lil bubba! :smiliedance:

but I'm feelin good about it!

Thanx! Well, AF was due today and so far no sign of her...
Cant stop eating! but i hate cooking! i need a chef!:chef:
It'd be interesting to have bub on xmas day...
So, assuming I have a healthy full term 40week pregnancy, due date is DEC 21st, which is my 5yr old nephews birthday up in Brissy!
I wonder how my sister will feel when I tell her bubs edd.?!
I CANNOT STOP SMILING:D even with being paranoid that af'll show up.
To be honest, I know I'll be a wreck until I get past the 14 week mark, which is how far along I was last time when I lost Ash.
Thankyou again! I dont know how I could of gotten thru all this without the help support and even just chit chat i get from all of you!:p
