Hi from Demeter's DH

Hi everyone,

I've just joined this forum and thought I should drop in and introduce myself.

As the thread title would suggest, I'm the partner of the beautiful Demeter and the proud Papa of our equally beautiful 3-month old DD, Harriet.

I am really enjoying fatherhood and getting to spend time with my little bubba. She has the most beautiful big, blue, eyes and amazing little smile.

It has also been amazing to watch Demeter's transition into motherhood as well, it has just seemed to come to her so naturally.

I've decided to join this forum, because I don't have any friends who are Dad's yet, and Demeter suggested this would be a good place to chat with other Dads.

Looking forward to exploring the site and getting to know people.

I didn't do the signature though ;) I dont mind when he says it coz its a familiar term of affection, not a patronising attempt to rob me of my status as an independent adult, which I agree it is the majority of the time it is used to refer to women. I call him my boy, too :)

Hippies->Health nut->Granola eating-->Crunchy. That's my understanding. The Granola eating comment was originally a slur on those who make alternative lifestyle choices, but it has been reclaimed by us crunchy folk as a term of pride :)
