Anyone interested in meeting up one day? Maybe we can get a list of names and list of places that would suit, no addresses as such due to privacy etc but just a general idea of what we can do around here?

We can PM everyone the info if we can make it go ahead with a day and time and place.

Thinking child friendly as i will have my 5yo if its a kinder free day plus the 3yo and bubs and older dd if its school holidays.

I will make a list here of whos interested and ideas on what we can do just let us know what days suit and times, so we can try meet halfway on a suitable day and time for everyone.

Hope a few of you show interest, both mummies and mums to be :)

As you know I am intrested, and free any day time of day dosn't really matter to me that much. I have no idea where to go though.

Do hope there are more mums and mums to be up for a meet.

punkbaby

Hey millismum we havent done it yet, only melanie and i have met up a few times :) be great to have a few more though to catch up for a coffee. I found out the play centre is a little pricey $7.50 each. You will have to let us know if your still interested and we can work out a day to catch up. If anyone else wants to let us know :)

Well I'm flexible for most days, just tues and weds are no good for me. That is pricey, I remembered it being much cheaper when we went with mums group, but I think they were all under one at the time. Me and my sis were going to go to the Hi5 concert in Warragul, which is $20, but the parents have to pay $20 as well. That's crazy I think, its not like you can just send them off to the concert on their own. Its also sold out though so lucky we didn't tell the girls (not that Amelia would get it, but Ella's nearly 3) But anyway, I am definitely interested, we'll just need a time and place!

I have an uncle at Eagle Point, I'm from the Sale,Yarram area. Sorry I have no experience with IVF or Dr talbot but I could ask around if you want? My neice has the opposite dilemma. Going to Sydney then getting pregnant with no family around.
I'd be happy to chat with you. :)

Eagle point is rather isolated, may I ask why you moved there? I live in an isolated coastal town too.:)

I came to the Yarram area from Melbourne and I know all about the "husbands friends" bit. but I've managed over time to associate myself with my own contacts and things . You'll find it much easier once your little boys are at school:)

Hi all,
We have recently moved to Traralgon. I am originally from gippsland and my parents still live around here but I haven't lived in the area for about 10 years now, so having moved back, I really don't know anyone!

Would love to meet some people in the area. I am 33 with DH, DSD 7, DS 2, DS 1.

Look forward to chatting soon.

We tried to orgainse a meet up last time but it never happened. I am more then intrested in meeting some people from around the area. I have a 9 mth old, moved here about 12 mths ago, and have only meet one person since moving here. I really think we should try and orgainse a gippsland mums/mum to be meet up.

Phew!!! I thought maybe it had happened already . I've been off the PC for awhile.
Well my kids are older so if guys don't mind that I'm happy to do a meet up .
I live at Mclouglins beach and I'm thinking with all the nice weather maybe people would like to meet up for a sausage sizzle or something at Woodside beach? They have all the facalities mums would want and it's very clean. It has a playground right next the the bbq area (sheltered) and toilets (yep they're clean and new)

Anyone interested? Maybe the weekend before Melbourne cup or the weekend after Melbourne cup?

Cwazywabbit Woodside Beach sounds good, I haven't been there for many many years! Won't be able to make it the weekend before the cup, we are in Melbourne for a wedding and the weekend after we are also in Melbourne for the Rugby League World Cup! What ages are your kids? Mine are DSD 7, DS1 2, DS2 1.
Weekends seem to suit us best at the moment as I am about to go back to full time work.

Maybe someone should take leadership of the meet arrangements... and maybe start a poll... what mth and date would suit, and perhaps go with the majority?

Hi Traralgon Mums.... Just seeing who is out there..? I am a 31 year old married Mum and my husband has been offered a good job in Traralgon and we are considering moving there. I have a 2 year old son, nearly 9 month old daughter and I am 11 weeks preg so I am desperate to know there are some Mums out there, good playgroups etc as I will miss all my friends and family where we currently are. Have you all met each other and established a good get together group. I currently go to two a week so need to keep that up for sanity and to get my toddler out and about. Whats it like to live there. Where should we stay clear of when looking for a house.. Help !!!
