Sorry if this is a silly question but I'm a first timer and I know nothing!
Last night when I was trying to get comfy in bed my belly was kinda hurting and I was led all wonky and then I coughed. It hurt quite a lot like I pulled a muscle or something and I led there saying 'ow' into my pillow. DH didn't wake up - would take an earthquake!
Anyway bub has been very quiet this morning and I am worried as I can usually feel movement all the time. Now I'm worried.
Someone please say - oh thats normal, or oh I have that all the time to make me feel better!

have a glass of ice cold water and lay down. this usually stimulates the baby to move. If you haven't felt anything in 24 hours go to the hospital and get checked out. The patterns of babies movements vary all the time, so do not panic yet.

As you get furthr along, certain pain and discomfort is quite common.

Let us know how you go.

The sharp pain sounds like Round Ligament Pain... i get that all the time.... maybe bubsy is having a lazy day... if you are worried just give the midwife or dr a call.

Hi thanks for the replies

Was just thinking I shoulda put baby bonus in the title and I might have got more replies!

Anyway, have felt some very slight movements this afternoon, so thinking maybe bub has just turned 'round and I can't feel it so much or something.
Still worried but DH said thats what mummies do - the good ones anyway, aww how sweet of him!
