Ovuation question??????

Hope someone can answer this for me. While on a break from IVF for 2 months I decided to test my ovulation myself. I usually O' on day 16 and have a positive O' line from day 15. This month I tested from day 15 and had a dark line. The line stayed dark till day 16 and was still there but a little faded on day 17. I tested this morning day 20 and still have a line although faded it is very visible. Is that normal to still have a line 4 days after O'. I am very confused, please help!! I usually have my embryo transfers on day 18 as they do them 2 days after O' and so far have had no luck. With my son, they did my transfer on day 20 and I got pregnant. Could it mean that my FET's are on the wrong day????? Could my egg be releasing later?? Any advice would be great. Thanks heaps xoxo:flowerz::flowerz:

Hi

Some women have a faint line on OPKs all month due to LH hormone being present in small amounts all month. A OPK is only positive when the test line is darker than the control line due to the Lh surge just before ovulation. I don't know anything about FET so maybe check with your clinic. Are you having ultrasounds and blood tests to check when you are ovulating?

the BT's that your clinic do to determine O before your FET's are much much more accurate than the POAS OPK's, so there is no chance of them getting it wrong.

As JJ's Mum said, lots of women get a line on an OPK all the way through the month. Unlike a preg test, it is only posative if it is darker than the control line.

However - if in doubt, bd anyway :D
