When did bubs start walking?

Hey,
Might have the wrong thread thingy!
But just wondering when everyones bubs started walking?
My bubs is 11 months old at the end of next week! And hes standing on his own and he walks long the fruniture.. But not walking yet?

Hiya my bubba started taking steps around 8 3/4 months but started walking properly by 9 months she stared walking around fruniture around 6months.

Arwen was 11 and 1/2 months and Rosie is still crawling and in no rush to have her walking...

Thomas started walking properly when he was 13months and 1 day. It was so weird because he had been walking around furniture and taking a couple of steps between furniture for what seemed like an eternity and a few days before he started to walki, I was thinking "is this classified as walking, when will I know when he is walking walking", then the day after he turned 13 months he was walking towards me when he stopped, turned and just started walking around :eek:, I was in shock. He hasn't stopped since.

DD started walking round 11 months.

The best advice I can give you is don't stress about it!
I was secretly wishing Anna would hurry up and walk to catch up with other kiddies. I secretly wondered whether she was going to be one of the 'late starters'. But, one day, she just took off, and i realised i had nothing to worry about. I was just worrying for worrying's sake.

Now she is practically running around all the time! I can't make her stand still!!:laughing:

all of ours were around the 10 month 11 month mark when they were walking, unnassisted as well.

cody started walking at 10 months he had been cruising furniture since 8 months

Kayne was walking around the furniture at 10 mths but at 12 mths took most of his steps about two weeks after this was running. He was so frustrated for so long now he is mobile he happy.

My DD was walking well by 13 months So was DS1, but DS2 is now 13 months and has no intention of walking by himself, He can walk along furniture he can stand for a while, but when you clap your hands to come he gets down on all fors! It's probably because he gets carried around all the time!

DD1 was walking at 11 1/2 months, and cruising at about 9 1/2? DD2 isn't even crawling yet, so will be a bit later me thinks.....

he just turned 10mths and walks everywhere now

All my boys walked either a few days before, or a few days after their first birthdays.

Alannah was 13 months.. thought she would be up and running chasing her brothers alot earlier than that tho.

My first son was 12 1/2 months
My daughter was 14 months, only because she got really sick at 12 months just as she was taking a step or two on her own, and that put her back a bit.
My third son started crawling at 7 months, but only did this for 3 weeks, then started walking around the furniture. He was walking 3 days before he turned 11 months.

My DS started cruising around the furniture at 7 months, stood alone at 9 months and walked at 11 months.
My DD has just started cruising around the furniture at 9.5 months and started standing on her own at 10 months, but no walking by herself as yet, she walks behind the activity walkers though.
