Seeking a Midwife Managed Birthing Centre IN/AROUND GEELONG

Hi,
I am wondering if anyone knows of any good birthing centers or anything of the type that are located any where in or around Geelong??

I really hate the Geelong hospital and would love to try somewhere else but i don't know of anywhere else if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated!:yelclap:

:wave: As far as I know, there are only the Geelong Hospital and St John Of God as yuor choices as to where to give birth in Geelong.
Perhaps you could look into homebirth??

I have birthed my 3 boys at St John Of God, and I will also be giving birth to number 4 there.

I have never had a baby at Geelong Hospital, and would never have a baby there after the stories I have heard...yet, I'm sure that there are plenty of women that are more than happy with Geelong Hospital.

I know they are probably a little more flexible at the Geelong Hospital...eg. waterbirth, etc. I do think, but don't quote me, that they do have a midwife managed type birthing thing there too.

P. S - You could always hire a Doula like I am so you have the continuity of care

You might like to consider The Birth House in Geelong as another option ? They have a private birth retreat and a team of private midwives. The retreat is beautiful and large enough for your attendants and you to use the birth pool, garden, kitchen etc .
