A different take on the above corn relish dip

low fat sour cream and corn relish - just mix it together until you like the taste. We ahve this quite often with carrot and celery sticks and even slices of red capsicum. YUMMY!

Hi Jessica

here's 3 and I'm sure you'll manage it quite ok no boiled water involved - ha ha.

Avocado Dip

1/2 ripe avocado
1/4 cup finely grated cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon finely chopped tomato
1 teaspoon yogurt

Blend, process or mash all ingredients in small bowl. Serve with blanched vegetable sticks for older or as a meal for younger babies. Best made just before serving.

French Onion Dip

2/3 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon French Onion soup mix

Combine ingredients in small bowl.

Salmon Pate

105g can red salmon, drained
60g packaged cream cheese
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 teaspoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley
40g butter, softened

Remove skin & bones from salmon; process salmon, cheese, mayonnaise, juice, parsley & butter until pureed.

This can also be served with Toast under the grill or in a moderate oven for about 15 minutes or until crisp & browned lightly, cool and cut into triangles before spreading with the pate.

here's another one Jessica:

Bacon & Corn Dip

Cook 4 trimmed finely chopped bacon rashers in small non-stick frying pan until crisp; drain on absorbent paper. Beat 250g softened packaged cream cheese in small bowl with electric mixer until smooth. Stir in bacon, 300g can creamed corn, 1/4 cup sour cream and 4 thinly sliced green onions.

gee if I had some of these ingredients I'd whip up a couple of them myself.

hey there here is one of my favourite dips and has always been a hit when i have made it.

I tub of cream cheese
i jar of sweet chilli pickles
grated cheese
diced shallots ( in nz we call these green onions not sure what you call them here)

spread the cream cheese out into a dish
spread the sweet chilli pickle over top then add the cheese and then add tghe shallots

this is so yummy and can be eaten with anything e.g crackers chips raw veges
it can also be slightly heated so that the cheese melts but i prefer it not heated.

try it youll love it
