what happened to the old hervey bay thread?:detective: im on the gold coast but we are moving to hervey bay in a few years and want to get in contact with some local hervey bay families:wave:we went for holidays in march, r going up again in august and november this year, we hope to move up there in 2010, we want to build a house and settle there:) such a beautifull place:sunshine:cmon hb :ecomcity:families where r u?:shakehands:

hi jenni, how ru? how long have u lived in hervey bay? what part do u live in? we r looking to buy /build a house up there, can u tell me if urangan is a good place to live? also what about eli waters and urraween, we dont want to be a high rental area or housing commision ,so do u know the areas to stay clear of, we live on the gold coast and we know labrador,some parts of varsity lakes(the old stephens suburb is hoonsville)we want to live in a family friendly area without the riff raff(iykwim lol) we liked urangan because its close to everything and we looked around near the urangan point priamary school on the other side of boat harbour drive, any info u have would be great, there is a new estate in urraween .augustus and mariners cove? they ok?:ecomcity:sorry i can rant on:laughing:we love the quiet and friendly atmosphere up there, a friend of mine has moved up there and they started up a buisness there, they ove hb too, have u got any kids?:wave:bye for now:shakehands:

I'm good how are you? I have lived in hervey bay all my life actually 20yrs. I live in Scarness. Im not sure if Urangan is a good place to live I only lived there when i was just born. Eli waters and urraween are pretty good places but i have never lived there lol.
If you have anymore questions let me know.
I don't have any kids yet. AF is due today actually so yeah. lol

hi jenni:) thanks for ur reply, best of luck with ttc:thumbsup:, well u r a local local, what a beautifull place to live, i cant wait to move up there, we have just paid for a rental at the holiday house we r going to stay in , for august:yelclap:, so what schools did u go to? we r thinking of enrolling our kids in either urangan point orif we build in urraween yarralie, do u know what they r like? also im starting a child care cert 111 course,and hope to get into child care when i finish, r there many job opertunities up there? my dh is a busdriver but has his truck licence too, he also worked as store maneger at supermarkets years ago. love it that they have no parking metres up there, free parking:yes:thanks for any info u have, when does whale watching seoson start? and does it get buisier there compared to easter hols and xmas? talk soon, sorry for so many questions, u said ask away :laughing::wave:
