Circumcision: Do you think one looks better than the other?

I've known a few people to be say that circumcised penises "look better." In fact, I have a friend who got his done when he was 14, because he thought it looked better.

I imagine that the need for it to "look good" is to do with the opposite sex finding one more attractive than the other... so I was wondering how much women actually care. Do the majority of us care?

So this is just a question to ease my curiosity really.

Note: This is not about whether or not you think circumcision is right or wrong... it's about the asthetics of it and whether or not you find an uncirced penis more or less attractive than a circed penis.

I wonder if opinions differ too... like I am anti-circumcision, but I do not care whether a man I am with is circed or not...

I think circ'd look better on grown men but that's only really because it's what I'm used to.

They sort of look wormy or something in my eyes when they haven't been circ'd (I'm not for circ, DS isn't done just answering the question).

To be honest, I think that circed does look better... In saying that I think of circumcision as being the same as having breast implants, a tummy tuck ect.. It is to me cosmetic surgery, unneccesary surgery.

Meh, an uncircumcised penis looks like a circumcised penis when erect and the sleeve is pulled back. And an limp circumcised penis just looks weird - like a floppy erection. My preference is for the uncircumcised. Though, frankly, given the choice, I'd rather have a cup of hot chocolate.

Honestly aesthetically I don't care either way...a penis is a penis as far as I am concerned.

When it comes down to the business end of things they both look identical anyway.

But now that I am aware of the circumcision issue and everything that goes along with it I have to appreciate an uncirced penis more....simply because it is normal and healthy and fully functional :)

Both ;) Less friction for the woman as the gliding mechanism is intact and more sensitive nerve endings for him as the foreskin protects the nerves from damage.

You wont find anyone on this planet more opposed to circumcision than me, but I beg to differ on your post. I know a few babies that have needed circumcision for health reasons and to increase their standard of living. I know what you mean though, maybe you forgot to mention the medically necessary bit.

Even though I think circed is more 'attractive' I definately would never have my child circed because I thought that.:no::barf: Mind you I wouldn't have my child circed for any reasons... (Unless of course it was truly medically neccesary and there was no other alternative.)

To me like breast implants and tummy tucks it should be a choice the individual makes when they are old enough to understand the risks both emotional and physical, no child can make that decision.

Also circing can reduce sensitivity around the top bit and can make some things take forever when you wish theyed just hurry up!

i prefer not done- when a uncirc penis is excited, the skin pulls back anyways so it looks just like a circ one:laughing:.

But I think that the circ. penis looks like half of it's missing.
I prefer it to be intact. I really see absolutely no point in chopping half of it off, and I don't understand how that could look pretty either.
However, that said, I disagree that both are ugly. If it is my partners private bit, it is pretty no matter what...because it is part of him.

I think intact looks better. A circumcised penis looks unnaturally exposed and scarred...and the head of the penis isn't nearly as dark & shiny...it looks much more dry and matte. I don't think a woman's vulva would look better sans labia, either; it would just look altered/reduced.

However, I wouldn't pick a partner based on penis style alone; my husband is cut.

I did a lot of research before having my son, all of the baby "experts" pretty much agreed that there is no reason at all in this day and age (unless for religion) that boys need to be circ'd. In the book "up the duff" she has some pretty strong views about why it is completely unnecessary and nothing but painful for the baby, that really made up my mind.

When our son was born the hospital didn't offer or give us any info on it, so I guess even if I had wanted it done it wasn't going to happen!

As dramatic as it sounds I almost didnt marry my husband cos he wasnt circumcised, I no its wrong but I find an uncircumcised penis repulsive. You always here about men that want there son to look like them etc but for me I grew up with 3 circumcised brothers and until I was 18 or maybe a bit older I thought all penises were circumcised :o & when I found out my Dh wasnt it really nearly ended out courtship - if I hadnt got to know him so well before our r'ship became sexual (we waited 10mths) I would have been so turned off we wouldnt be together today. Lucky I fell in love first but I must say I still have major issues with his penis and any future sons will be circumcised, (DH wishes he was and is looking into it.)

I used to think circumcised was better, but now that I know more about this procedure it has turned me off it.

DP is circumcised because that is what they did back then. Our little boy isn't circumcised because its not the done thing these days, so the girls that see his penis will probably be quite used to seeing an uncircumcised penis and will think the surgically modified one is the strange one. Times have changed.

After the birth, I saw altogether far too much of my vagina - was trying to ascertain damage and buggered if I knew if there was any. It all just looked like a wound.

I dont think anyone is judging a man based on what his penis looks like.....they are judging his penis.....nothing to do with the man. If i found a man's penis ugly, I wouldnt be judging the man, just his penis.

With or without skin the schlong has it's purpose. As long as the person who has the appendage knows how to use it I couldn't care less what it looks like. I'm not ProCirc or Anti either.

Does one look better than the other? Honestly, I would say no. Both look pretty unappetising if you ask me. But they can do wonderous things to you in the bedroom :laughing:

Well i'll be the odd one out here, I think a penis and vagina look good, and they serve the best purpose:)

As for the OP, i prefer looking at uncirc but either is fine, they both perform the same outcome if operated correctly.
