I have heard that a lot of people show quite early on in their 2nd pregnancies. I am only 4 weeks and there is no belly yet.

How early did others start to show?

When we fell pregnant again with our second we weren't going to tell anyone until I was 12 weeks (with DS1 we were too excited and told the world!!) but we couldn't hide it from 6-7 weeks - by then I already looked 3 months!!!

Now at 29 weeks I am constantly asked how much longer i have got to go and they all look shocked when I say mid June......

About 16-17 weeks I started showing with my second. And gee did I grow after that!

With DS#2 i was still carrying around some baby weight from my first pregnancy so i just looked chubby until about 14 weeks.

Stu's Chick- I was thinking about when to tell people and had the thought that i might not be able to hide it anyway. So i guess once i am starting to show and it is obvious to everyone else, then that will be the time.:D

Hey Angela, how exciting! :smiliedance:

I started to show really early this time, even though I lost 8kg's in the first 2 months (boo hoo to ms). I found that all those pre stretched muscles made a big difference.

I was happy to tell people a lot earlier this time, partly because I was so sick, I couldn't really hide it, and also because it's not as much of a 'big deal' the second time. Its still really really exciting, but I do feel much more relaxed about this pregnancy.

How are you feeling so far? If you want to hide it for a while it shouldn't be too difficult. Melbourne weather at the moment is great for big jumpers!!

Have you booked into a hospital/bcentre yet?

Hey Wattle:)
I am going to Birralee (Box Hill) and i'm just waiting on them to call me with my first appointment.

I had a Summer pregnancy with Coban so it will be interesting to see how i go with the Winter one. Luckily i still have all my old clothes which are a bit big for me now so people might just think i'm putting on weight again.
