Bacchus Marsh Hospital..?

Yes its in victoria, not close to Geelong though, i think its about 1 hour from Geelong..

Just stumbled on this thread so apologies if it is very old!

Our daughter Emma was born at Bacchus Marsh hospital in April 05.

I did shared care with a local GP and saw the hosp Obst a few times as well.

The hospital itself was fabulous. Midwives all very helpful and respectful of our wishes (we rocked up to the hosp in transition and had a completely unmedicated birth with no interventions and a natural 3rd stage).

We got to stay in the birth suite the whole time we were there too which was great as it had its own door to the outside and my husband and son could come and go as they wished pretty much.

It also had an ensuite which was really handy.

The onyl downside was that I personally didn't like the Obst AT ALL, but luckily he wasn't there for the birth anyways (we just had the midwife on duty and my husband and doula were there too).

It is a lovely little hospital though and I would happily recommend it :D
