I took the chicken I want to use out of the freezer TWO days ago wanting to make chicken curry last night but it was still frozen.

Thought I'd make it tonight. Still frozen in the fridge (yes, I think I need to get my fridge looked at).

I have had it sitting on the counter for about an hour now and it looks okay but still feels a bit frozen-ish on the inside.

Would it be okay if I cooked it??

I want chicken curry NOW!! :hair:

cut it up and cook it on a bit lower temp than normal. Should be fine.

It should still be ok....

I usually defrost stuff in the microwave - and use it straight away.

im pretty sure they say to thaw everything in the fridge so i guess if its been at a constant cool temperature it should be ok?

That's what I heard too...

I just rang XDP who is a chef and he said it will be fine, just so long as I don't accidentally burn the outside leaving the inside cold / frozen.

Gee, it's days like this I wish I had a microwave :p
