thanks to DD1 who felt the need to peel 3 banana's for no reason other then to just peel them, i now have 3 frozen banana's (i could have chucked them but i didn't want to waste them if i didn't have to)
so what can i use them for
anyone use frozen banana's for anything ?
i would just blend and whip them into something like ice cream but DD1 hates ice cream type things and im not to fond of them myself.

Will she eat the frozen banana like an icy pole? We used to have that all the time - sucking on frozen bananas as kids :)

Frozen 'nana's keep for quite a while as long as you wrap them well, and you can use them for any kind of baking, just be warned they can be quite gooey when defrosted. This what you do when you have soft ones no one will eat anymore, and no time to bake - just freeze till you do have the time.:D

i guess i could try giving her one just frozen, she does like icy poles.
its a shame DD2 is too young for solids other wise i could have cut them up and put them in one of those food mesh things.

throw them in a bowl to defrost. Mash with a fork, and then mix into a pancake batter with cinnamon or nutmeg for yummy banana pancakes or pikelets. The cooked pikelets can be frozen ( I freeze between sheets of parchment paper) for a quick & handy snack when needed.

I do this or throw them into a cake mix !
If you find that are super gooey thats fine for baking just add them before you do the milk or water or whatever you use lmao ! Then only add enough to help the mixture !
I have found that i usually only use half the amount of liquid in the cake mixture to what i would normally if the banana is gooey :)
