Hi

We really hope to use a doula for our third baby in a vbac birth. I was wondering if anyone could suggest what types of questions I should be asking of potential doulas?

Whats important to you?

There are lots of questions on lots of different sites but I think you need to decide what important.

Id be finding out their experience with VBAC, their level of understanding of what a VBAC is and get from them a feel of whether they feel a VBAC is a vaginal birth with considerations or an emergency waiting to happen (you'll want one not the other obviously).

Id certainly be ensuring they are trained or at least training depending on what you are looking for.
