Hi everyone,
I am getting married in September and have just received my Wilton "print yourself" invitations. My question is do i have to have the guests name on the invites?? I am finding it hard to find wording that i like that has both parents names on it and the ones that i do don't have a space for the guest's names.
Do you think it is rude to not have the guest's names?? I know it may be a little confusing for those with kids to know whether the kids are invited or not.
Your opinions would be great.

If you are inviting children you could always address the envelope to Mr & Mrs Blah Blah and family.
If you are not inviting children I think it might get a bit confusing.

As we have kids ourselves and alot of our friends have kids, they will be invited aswell.
Think i will keep on googling and see what i find!!
Thanks

To confirm, you don't have enough room to put your guests names because you are listing both sets of parents names?
I do think its important to place the guests name on the invite but I dont think it is essential that it goes where the wording is IYKWIM Just so they know exactly who is invited .....
If I was correct that its because your listing both sets of parents names there are ways around that if you find the right wording. We used something along the lines of 'Jo and Stacey, together with their parents wish to invite you' it helped space wise as well as making things easier by the fact my mother has remarried and I wasn't inviting my father

I do have limited space but at the moment that is not the issue! All the wording that i have found that i like do not have a space for the guest's names IYKWIM??
I can't not put at the the least DF's parents on there as they are the ones paying and i'm sure they would want some acknowledgment. Since they are going on i want my mum and stepdad on there too.
My biggest issue at the moment is i can't get it to print in the colour i want and my envelopes won't fit into the printer cause they are too wide. I am so over this and kinda starting to wish i had paid someone to do it for me

I can't help with the wording, although I do think it's important to put names on, but for the envelopes could you use labels rather than try to print directly onto them? I used clear labels so once they were stuck on, you could hardly tell.
