It is very normal for a breast fed baby to not do poo's for a week or so. As long as he has heavy, wet nappies you can be assured he is getting enough fluid (as you say, he eats alot, which is great)
The only other thing is to think about your diet, I love cheese but had to stop when i was breast feeding cos my bub got tummy aches when i ate it (I'm pretty sure that's what is was)
I would'nt worry too much but definately mention it at the check up.
All the best with your little one!:)
thanks girls!!
i guess i should be thankful to not have pooey nappies to wash!!!!

My son was the same he would do one gigantic poo every 7-10 days (it would literally fill 5-6 nappies in one hit:eek: )
Everyone said this was normal And it is in most cases BUT it can also be a sign of reflux (as my bub wasnt happy and he would cry alot, had wind etc etc) which I didnt find out until after my son was diagnosed with reflux at 8 months. So for 8 months my son (and I) were suffering and didnt know why?.
Any way Im sure your little one is fine, its just nice to be aware of the Maybes iykwim;)
I took my son to a natropath recently and she taught me this great massage technique that stimulates the bowels and helps bubs/kids/adults go to the well you know what LOL
At the base of the foot (near the heel) there is a pressure point you press gently but firmly and make circular movements, you do this several times a day for a 30 secs or so and it has worked great for my son he now goes twice or three times a day (which is normal for his age)
good luck, im sure your little one is fine!:)
