Galactosaemia

Maybe this isn't the right place to post as Galactosaemia isn't an allergy or intolerance, but it seems the most suitable place?
My nearly 5 month old son has Galactosaemia and I'm hoping to get in contact with other parents with a child with the same condition.
I'll be starting him on solids soon and would love to talk to other parents about how you have handled the diet required for children with galactosaemia, and any other potential complications of galactosaemia you have had to face.

sorry i dont have any experience with this but having a dd with gi problems i have read about this in all my research ..

i sympathise with you - i can help you out with a dairy free diet if you want.. as she reacts to all food / protiens and we have trialled most food groups as individual groups..

We're off to Westmead early next month for some help with starting the diet, but I'm sure as we start introducing more foods I'll be looking for ideas.
