I Moved My Boys At 3 Yrs But My Twins Will Be Staying In Their Car Seats Indefinately!could You Imagine Twins In Boosters?they Are On Opposite Sides Of The Car Now So They Cant Touch Each Other.i Think When A Child Can Sit Still And Not Fiddle With The Seat Belt There Ready.if You Ring Rta They Can Tell You.

I think the weight is 14 kgs. My 3 year old is 15 kgs and has been in a booster for a little while now. You can also buy the extra harness which clips into the bolt at the back of your car and then thread the seatbelt through it.

You can move them into a seat like the Safe"n" Sound Maxirider earlier as it has the full harness for when they are younger and then the seat belt loops for when they are older. I think they can be in it from 8 kgs up.

I have also been looking at booster seats recently. I was told by the lady in the baby shop i went to that they have to be AT LEAST 14kg.

Something to do with the locking thing in the seatbelt and children under this weight not being heavy enough to make it work if the car is in an accident/ stops suddenly.

This is just what I was told, I'm sure someone at the transport dept or somewhere like that would be able to tell you the exact reason.

yes the maxirider they can go into from 8 kilos, though i would say its safer to keep them in a baby seat(birth-18 kilos) as long as possible
