help does teeth = more poo = bad nappy rash

Hi all

not to sure where to post this
in the last two 2days our little fella has had a least 5 bm a day this is not the norm for him
they are all fairly loose some more than others
this has caused a very nasty nappy rash (we have never had nappy rash b4)
besided the rash he is still his happy self untill nappy change comes
i know that he has to back teeth that have already broken though (last week)

i guess my question is has anyone had frequenting pooing as a result of teeth
soory if this sounds scattered just a little worried about the how much the boy can poo

we are treating the nappy rash with bi carb & a fungul cream

I have found that with both of my boys, as soon as there were teeth coming through the poos were revolting and the nappy rash appeared (even though we changed them quickly).
If you're giving him Panadol this can sometimes cause this type of 'present' in the nappies...or is it just that I've used Panadol when either of the boys have been teething, therefore giving the impression that it may be caused by the Panadol too? Now I'm confused!!!!
Definately has something to do with the teething though.

When teething, Charlee sometimes did 4 really runny poos a day, and they really burnt her poor little bum, no matter how quick we changed them. I found pawpaw ointment to do wonders, adn to apply it freshly at every change.

Yep i hate teething ! :mad:
We have been teething on & off for the last few weeks yet again & its terrible !!!!
There was one day he did 6 runny revolting bm yet he hadnt eaten properly for 2days prior due to his teeth all i kept thinking where the hell is this coming from ?!?!?!?!? :barf:
Bubs nappy rash was horrific & i couldnt find anything to clear it up until i found Brauers nappy rash cream ! Its got calendula & tea tree in it so its all natural & wonderful. Its not gunky like others either & basically started healing his bum within 2hrs so by the following morning it was all but gone ! We have a little bit back atm due to his bm yet again but its working its magic.

Ellie is going through this right now- for her I find that Curash zinc cream works wonders- hopefully we see some teeth soon- she's 19 months and only has her two top front teeth-cute
