Headaches in late Pregnancy

Ok so its more like final days of pregnancy...but Katherine will be 40 weeks on Monday and rang up today for advice. She has a really severe headache,dots in her vision and slighty nauseaus. I have told her to take a few panadol and if it doesnt subside to call the hospital and ask their advice. Anybody else out there with some idea....Is it just a headache or something more? The only thing i can find is that it can be associated with Eclampsia but at her last check up(monday just gone) her urine and BP were fine. Any help would be much appreciated.

I would definatley recommend to go to the GP or the hospital. These are all symptoms of high blood pressure and the on set can be from one minute to the next, so her previous appointment wouldn't make any difference.
Tell her to go ASAP.:thumbsup: Better to be safe.

Yep thats what i thought. Her BP was actually 100/70. Is that good? I'm not really up on BP....mine is a very steady one!!
But thanks anyway. I might just call her back and let her know.

That's a good BP in general. I've had a bit of a problem with mine and have been checking it at home. I can check it at one time and it's perfect and then an hour later have a headache and vision disturbances and it is high. A real pain.:rolleyes:
