Hey all,
Well as some of you know Jesse has had 5 interviews with Agnew and it looks like they may finally have made their decision :fingerscrossed:

Jess is going out for a site inspection on Wednesday. Hopefully they'll tell him Wednesday if they want him for sure.

This would be the best job for him, if he gets it.

:fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed: Good luck.

Have you been there before? If not see if he can take a video camera and get someone to show him the accomdation etc too. That way you know what to expect and it can help you decide what to pack.

Hope it all works out.:)

:smiliedance::smiliedance:That is great news. As a naive English person, can I ask where it is? Does it mean he will still be away?

:smiliedance::smiliedance:That is great news. As a naive English person, can I ask where it is? Does it mean he will still be away?

Its in the gold fields region of WA.
He can put our names down on the waiting list to get a house there but for the moment he will still be working away.

Where in the goldfields is it a remote area or near kalgoorlie? How will you go do you think being away from perth?
But congratulations!!! you must be stoked...
Sometimes I kinda wish I lived up in the pilbara so could see DH more, but then he moves from site to site so I am not sure I would anyhow...

I'm not sure if we would move out there.
They let Ash and I fly out for the weekend. Six times a quarter so thats pretty much every second stint.

I'd have to go out there first before I decided if we could live there.

We are in Perth now and I love it here, so I guess it's a wait and see kind of thing.

Nah it's remotesville  in Leinster which is like 500kms from Kalgoorlie.

I'd really have to go see it first before I considered moving, the other thing is we want to have an other baby and I wouldn't want to be far from a hospital.
So that kinds rules out going out there for now.

Thanks for the congrats tho, I'm so stoked!
This mine has a fair bit of life left in it, So he won't be moving anywhere soon.

This is the best job, they look after there employees and there families so well.

They pay private health insurance,
Asher and I can fly out there for the weekend 24 times a year,
They do salary packaging so we can get a brand new car :smiliedance: no more driving 1980's or early 90's cars!,
They will pay for Jesse to go to uni and
they really want Jesse to stay for as long as possible. Which is awesome for us because he really wants stability in his work place.

I'm so excited this job is the biggest blessing to our lives :D

Fly fly fly hun. Dont go live there. We used to live a little bit more north of there in Laverton. There was never anything to do, no where decent to go and extremely remote.:(

Thats what I was thinking, As hard as it is having Jesse away the time does fly by and single mums do it all the time so I know it's not like it will kill me to be with Asher all by my ownsome one week out of every two.

Heya darls congrads on your DH getting the job I grew up in Kalgoorlie so know the area really well and I didn't like Laverton at all very small and not really that good esp if your :bfp:. Sorry to be a bummer I would stay in Perth if it was me darls. At least it's not that far away with him working my DH works at top of WA......But go and have a look see at the place before you make up your mind you might like living in a small town.

Leinster! I remember Leinster. Lets just hope it don't remember me. :D
Spent my 21st birthday in Leinster. Loooooooong time ago. It was pretty dead then, well, not the night of my birthday, but thats a whole nother story involving wrecking a rec room. No idea what it may be like now. I do remember they had a small hospital, but again I say that was a loooooooooooong time ago.

It's wonderful that you'll get to visit so often.:yelclap:
