What do you think is the best way to change the world?

Gun ~ Change by war / revolution / military-style strategy.

Guitar ~ Any musical instrument. The social power of music.

Pen ~ Through writing, which now mainly includes keyboards.

Organisation Meditation ~ You believe the system can be changed from within.

Mo' Money ~ Capital working positively.

Soap Box ~ The power of speeches and rhetoric.

Example ~ The power of positive reinforcement.

Spotlight ~ The power of the role model

School House ~ In-depth education

I had to vote money.

Finances are why a lot of wars begin and money is often an excuse for racism and all sorts of heinous things.

I voted 'example' because I believe that if we all do what we can, we are setting an example to our family and friends (not to mention our children) - some of whom may very well be business owners/managers and possibly inspired enough to take it to a higher level...

I am of the opinion that it's easier for the little people to do what we can, and what we can afford to do, thus setting an example not only to businesses, but government etc.

I really think it will take revolution to change the world. Hopefully it will be relatively painless, but with the balance of power tipped the way it is, I can't see any other way, especially with the time limitations we have.

I also believe in freedom of speech, education, expression through the arts, and influence through example, but unless we have a serious social revolution, I don't hold out much hope for the planet.

Money...the root of 'most' evil.

And 'example...something that is sadly lacking in todays society.

Education. We wont be around forever, its up to the next generation to change the world- so we have to teach them good ways (eg. teaching them to 'be green' and do good things for the enviroment like recyling so it just becomes second nature to them iykwim?)

this generation and previous ones have screwed the world up enough.

Exactly that is why we are really trying very hard to teach our five kidlets to "be green"
