Dumb question I know, but we love frozen vegs and have been wasting a lot of veges lately. so, can you freeze veges (eg carrot etc cut up)? Do you need to cook first? Do they taste nice when re-heated?

I freeze carrots and broccoli etc if i have some thats going to go to waste rather than toss it, potatos dont freeze too well though so steer clear from them. Generally i have frozen broccoli, cauli carrots and pumpkin (in chunks) havent ever cooked them and they have been ok so i figure its ok LOL i also precut stir fry mixes etc and if i dont use them in time i toss them in the freezer for a quick and easy meal

I found some veges freeze better than others, carrot and capsicum freeze okay, but celery not so well.
