Can you still get pg without EWCM?

Hello all,

Just as the title sates, can you get pregnant if when you ovulated you didn't get EWCM? This cycle I haven't had any EWCM. I think DH and I timed our BD well with O, but I am now thinking if I didn't have the right CM to nourish the sperm to the egg, maybe I won't get pg this cycle.
Does anyone remember falling pg and not having EWCM for that cycle? Thanks in advance :)

Yes. I didn't have any, and didn't realise I was going to ovulate, until it was too late...and oops. I was also taking heaps of antihistamines that week, which are supposed to dry up your mucous, but it didn't make any difference.

I really really hope so because this cycle I have had NO ewcm at all. I've mostly had just sticky and one tiny amount of wcm but no actual ewcm. TMI- there was so little cm that we had to use lubricant which I know is a major no-no with TTC :shame: I am on clomid and this is known to dry out cervical mucus so I am guessing that explains the reason why I had none.

I know for a fact that I ovulated yesterday because I had an internal scan on tuesday which showed a nice big healthy follicle, then I had ovulation triggered with a hcg injection on thursday. I had shocking ovulation pain last night and then a temp rise this morning.

Lets hope and pray that it is possible to fall pregnant without EWCM! :fingerscrossed:

im pretty sure that just watery CM will do as i read somewhere that most women dont even get EWCM and some only a few cycles a year.

Since being on Clomid I've had very little ewcm & my gyn recommended using Pre-Seed lubricant as it's sperm friendly and is designed for those TTC. It's not cheap but I found it very good.
