Heya
I'm actually feeling really good with this pregnancy, just wondering if anyone else is a lucky one like me? :p
With DS, by 6 weeks I was constantly sick, this time, I'm always tired and continually having cramps, since 4DPO, so they don't worry me at all.
I have a bit of nausea, but it comes and goes, and it's only very mild!
I am still 4 weeks, so it could arrive and this thread would just bite me on the bum, but oh well.
Anyone else having a bit of an easy ride?

Just me then? :p
nah - not alone...Perky all the way here.
Just a bit tired.
Perhaps that is because i still don't quite believe the result!:p

I'll put my hand up too lol.
I am feeling great, I have no obvious signs of being PG yet except for a few cramps, needing to pee more and wanting savoury foods.
Last time around I felt like carp from day 1 and I had nasty cramps through until 12 weeks or so.
I think second time around is easier as everything has already been stretched once
Make the most of it hun! :)

I'm pretty much the same, which is good, but worrying at times if I think about it too much . I have had a few moments when I've felt a bit 'off', but not too bad.
I had a fairly breezy pg with DD (no m/s and no real sign I was pg - a lot of ppl didn't even know I was until I had the bub!). I was told by a psychic our 3rd bub would be a girl ... we'll see if it's a mirror image pg (hope so :p).

I'm feeling pretty good too. I've had a few mild headaches, very slight nausea and mild cramps on and off.
I did go to bed early last night as I did feel very tired but I do think these chilly nights make me want to snuggle down early. (.)(.) are beginning to feel tender and I remember sore boobs being the most awful sympton with DS#1.
I'm just so over the moon at being pregnant and I can't wait for the 6wk scan. If all is ok that's when we'll be telling DS#1. He's already asked,"When can we have a baby Mum?" as everyone else seems to have a sibling(s).
I guess it's early days yet and we'll be having a good old moan in the next couple of weeks.
Stay healthy and look after yourselves :)

Isn't it lovely?! :D
Whenever I say how great I feel, DHsays "Yeah, for now!"
k2ma I know what you mean, I'm still a bit  that I'm pregnant already, I was expecting a decent amount of time TTC but it happened first go, so I'm like "Ok...."
HelsBels maybe that means the labour will be quick and easy too! :D
Incy Wincy you're probably right, and a part of me can't wait for that! :o It's so reassuring to feel like cr@p in the early stages.

K2ma & mamalicious...I'm the same. I often forget I'm pregnant...it just hasn't sunk in, really. After the prolonged attempts TTC last time, I simply wasn't expecting to get preggers on the first attempt! It's great...just a bit surreal.
I got a nasty tummy bug last week...projectile vomiting, fever, stiff neck & back...took ages to come right (my daughter had it too). But apart from that, I've been fine. It's a bit too early for MS if I'm going to get it. I never had any with #2 but with #1, I was really crook from about 6 or 7 weeks. So I guess the next couple of weeks will be a good indication on whether I'm going to get it or not.
My belly is already starting to look bigger, though. My muscles must be completely slack!!!
6 weeks today...We haven't told anyone yet. Only you ladies know!!
I am off to the Dr on MOnday afternoon. Very excited. Still expecting to be told it is imaginary!!:D
Epiphany we are on #3 too! I remember being quite queasy at 6 / 7 weeks with #2 so perhaps this is my week for m/s...yeuch. Glad you have recovered from your bug. I have a cold that just won't end.

I think it might be a bit early for my morning sickness too, I'm almost looking forward to it though :D
k2ma hope your doctors appointment went well!

Hi girls. I am a newbie. Just found out on Monday morning that I am up the duff. Very exciting as we have been trying for almost a year. I am feeling great, a little tired though - also I have been spotting for a few days which is scary, but my Ob told me not to worry. BT is on the 27th. Hopefully it will be ok!?

I'm still feeling fine ... quite tired by early evening and the odd wave of nausea, but then it's gone as quickly as it came, so often wonder if I'm imagining it!
Earlier I ate 2 rounds of tomato sandwiches, and I had some fish fingers and a chicken strip a while ago, now I feel like :barf: ... what a pig!!!

hi everyone
I am due with bub no 2 on 3 Jan 09. Am feeling sicker than ever before.
Breezed through no 1 pregnancy with no m/s or anything - but not this time. I am exhausted and feel nauseas all day. Not much fun but am very excited as have waited for long to conceive no 2.
Hope everyone is good and all m/s passes quickly.

My morning sickness is here :( Not too bad yet, but I know what's coming!
I've gone right off tea, and loving oranges and grapes, but apart from that I can't really think of anything I want to eat.
And DS is sick and very high maintenance, I was fine when I had a runny nose and cough and stuff but now the headache has kicked in and I just want him to go to sleep! :hissy:

Mamalicious - hope DS gets better soon, and doesn't send you too insane! Any chance someone can give you a bit more relief today for an hour or 2?

A friend has just popped by and he's perked right up, cheeky flirt.
He is driving me round the bend though, I've done everything I can think of and he still wont sleep or settle down or stop being a grizzly bum. For me anyway.

HI all, I'm nearly 5 weeks. Have had one day of nausea and a couple of dizzy spells, but nothing too bad yet.
Haven't told anyone yet, desperately wanted to tell our mothers today, but are holding off till at least after the first scan.
I am constantly peeing an certain foods taste weird (yogo tastes bland - I'm devastated :()
guess I'm just playing the waiting game til I'm doubled over the toilet!!!!!
Can't imagine I am one of the lucky ones who will escape with no M/S

Morning pg ladies!
I am only 4 weeks, and haven't really had anysigns im pg! If I hadn't had the blood test I would have no clue that I am utd! I have had slight cramping, and a head cold but thats it. It would kind of be nice to have a little bit of m/s, then I really know its real! I still can't believe it yet!
I hope those with m/s get over it soon :)

I have cold now, still no m/s. but the INSOMNIA is just messing everything up. I'm tired all day but by night it's like Ive had six coffees!!!
M/s isn't too far away as I can't look at raw chicken, and I hiccuped and almost threw up on our lounge room rug.

Insomnia and tiredness are my latest! I get disturbed anywhere between 2 and 4am and then can't sleep for an hour or 2. It doesn't help that all I'm usually thinking about is the bleeding I've been having and if things are ok :(. The more I try and think about 'nothing' the worse it is to fall asleep.
Still not feeling sick though, but I can feel my uterus is rising up (can't lean over the bathroom basin or kitchen sink without feeling the pressure). Surely that's a good sign????
Hope those that aren't feeling too well start feeling better soon :hugs:

I'm not feeling too bad, food is a bit of a problem, if I get a moment in the day where I feel ok about putting it in my mouth then I grab it.
I had a really weird moment today, my hands and legs went all shaky, was a bit scary.
GIAG raw meat is a gross thought hey, we're a vegetarian house atm. :o

I'm very much a meatatarian. I love my meat.
So it was very much a 'symptom' when I couldn't cook the chicken.
I was paranoid I wouldn't eat a steak, but thankfully its all good.
I am bad with vegatables, I have been my whole life, so I am forcing myself to eat as much of the vegies I DO like each night. Its hard, but I knw that its worth it to give my baby the best start in life. ahhhhh the sacrifices begin already.
I crave milk, and as I have IBS, that scares me. I'm used to drinking milk and being sick five minutes later. So its quite a pleasant experience for me to be gulping down milk and not being sick from it. Hope that stays after the pregnancy.

Hi Guys,
Just popping into this thread - hope you don't mind.
The meat thing intrigues me!! Other than sore boobs I don't feel much different, but last night I bought some greek lamb which I was going to roast for dinner tonight. I thought about it whilst driving to work today and the thought of it completely grossed me out!
Good to know it isn't just me!
Can I ask really naive question? How far along do you have to be before you can have a scan. I am guessing I am 5 weeks now?
Because I am feeling not much different - I am not going to fully believe it until I have a scan!!

They normally don't send you till around 6 or 7 weeks minimum as that's about when they can see a heart beat.

1stime - they usually do the first scan at 6-7 weeks to check for viability and also as a dating scan if it's needed.
The next one would be 12 weeks for the nuchal scan which checks your baby's risk of downs syndrome, although this is optional. Some women only have a scan done at 20 weeks, and that one checks the baby over and you can usually find out the sex too.

I had a scan at 5 weeks 4 days with my first one. Sadly this time I can't even negotiate my way into a proper test :hair: Im so annoyed at my pregnancy urine tests, the ones I do at home come out positive and the ones I get done there turn out negative! Whats the point in seeing a doctor for an early diagnosis when I can diagnose it earlier  Anyway keeping on topic.. Today is a bad day.. Very very badddd dayyyyy!!!!! My head is pounding.. Me thinks its all the added stress these doctors cause  When they finally confirm that im pregnant im so going to take my slipper off and paddle there foreheads with it

YAYYYYY I finally got my blood test :smiliedance: I found a new doctor and hes wonderful!! He sent me imidiately for a full blood workup and hes pretty sure im preggers so he's already handed all the "come and let me deliver your baby I'm so fabulous pamphlets" out  We went thru what the other doctor had put down on paper and it acutally said in there that he thought I'd concieved on the 19th of May!!! THATS TODAY WHAT A DORK!! And it said that "I" said I was happy to wait for confirmation  how he got I'm happy to wait for confirmation out of I've had an ectopic and I want to be sure "NOW" that its in the right place is beyond me, so were putting in a lovely complaint together me and my wonderful doctor :D 2 Days and I'll have my "confirmed" results in but Im pretty sure from reading the path notes that he's only ordered a yes/no hcg test not a how long one so I'll have to wait till my scan to find out when the spawn of satan will be due (poor kid) :goodvibes:

All good on my front, in the first tri I could get a bit queezy if I didn't snack throughout the day but nothing major. I'm actually loving the fact that i can eat more. Last night I felt a stronger flutter than normal which startled me, I'm definatley feel the little tacker a bit more in the last few days (18 weeks tomorrow). Got my scans on Tuesday so looking forward to getting an update and finding out the sex.
