Hi Everyone :wave:

This is our very first posting and I'm having a bit of trouble trying to find out exactly what we're entitled to when it comes to travel etc. I keep pestering DH to find out but he's on course for another couple of months and is so busy studying that i'm just trying to find the answers on my own. I'm hoping to send my son down to his dad (DH is his step-dad) next school holidays and am just trying to sort everything out.

Only if you in what is classified as a 'remote locality' ie Darwin you can get RLLT (Remote Locality Leave Travel) otherwise you don't get funding for any type of travel.

Yeah, unless u get Darwin or Cairns, or somewhere classed as remote, u woun't get any entitlements. In Cairns, we are entitled to RLLT once every two years.

In Darwin you are entitled to RLLT once a year & Cairns/FNQ you are entitled to one every 2 years...
