Its really strange having these social pages as it is..
But what about when people die?

There is a website devoted to leading you to myspace pages of those who have died.
Now Facebook is starting to have the same sort of thing.

People write on the profile page of the deceased like they are still here..
The pages show the photos and messages that have been put up and show the deceased person..as they were.

Do you think its a breach of privacy? I mean after you are dead you cant stop people reading what you have put on.

I find it so interesting..One girl who had pased away had messages that were written in such a jovial tone..eg..
Hi I still think you are mean..miss you RIP...

It seems weird to me maybe cause in my life grief was such a private thing???

Any ideas or comments?

I lost a close friend in March last year and his myspace is still running we all post messages telling him what is goin on in our lives and how we miss him and we all tell him he better be rocking it with jimmy hendrix (old joke)..

I have never really thought much about it to be honest... It's just good knowing that it feels like you are actually communicating with him.

I don't think that there should be a website that leads you too all the deceased persons profiles that's a bit wierd.

Yeah I totally agree.
Its ok whenits just the friends but when it turns into a sort of advertising its kinda gross.

I have nto grown up with facebook and myspace so I cant get my head around writing to deceased people.

Its so great to hear form someone who does do it.

Thanks for explaining it to me I can see how you would get a sort of comfort form it.

He was also a professional skater so alot of his fans write to him on there saying things like you were an inspiration, we love you and things like that which his mother loves reading because it reminds her what an amazing son she had.
