Luca is getting well and truly sick of being on the floor, he hates his bouncy chair now and tries to escape as soon as he's put in it.

I have a Fisher Price Hop n Pop that he likes but I think it is wearing thin, my friend has a door bouncer and I tried Luca in it and he wasn't that impressed. We have a bumbo and he sits in it for about a minute then looks at me like "Now what?" and wants to get out. I'm finding it really tough to make him happy during the day.

We have a swing arriving in a couple of days for the back yard so hopefully the weather here will improve.

Does anyone have any items that their bubs love and could help me entertain my restless child??!

Hi Moops my buba likes to get on the floor and roll and move around she tries to grab at thing and also is getting quit good at army crawling, I would suggest putting a blanket down and scatter some toys in his reach and watch him go.

Hope that helps :D

my boy is a little bit older but for a while now he has loved his activity table thing. sorry no idea what it is called. it is an activity table similar to a walker but no wheels and they can bounce while in there. it has a few toys along the tabel and we always put a few more of his up there with him. but he really loves this. hope it helps

I have a book called Baby Play (Leiderman & Masi) which contains all different play acitivies for babies depending on their age. Some are really basic and some you probably already do, but gives you some ideas when you're all out of them!! It also provides info on mental/physical development. I got it from Angus and Robertson. I've found it really handy.
