Hi everyone!

Its my Mums 60th Birthday in May, and she is having a movie theme, so we have to came as a movie.

I will be 8 mths pregnant then, and cant really hide my bump:laughing:

Can anyone think of any movies that are about/feature pregnancy and / or babies? Any ideas?

Dont really fancy the aliens movie, or the labour instruction movie as my DH so kindly suggested!:laughing:

Dress like biblicale times but pop a sign on the front saying Mary or a sign pinned to the front of your belly (2 YOUR DRESS) Saying "Jesus inside".

I suppose this one depnds on the other company at the party and if they would be offended but i think its a great one!! :D

Honeymoonbub, I had the same issue in December. I went as Helen of Troy (from the movie Troy) ie long flowing robes, one strap over the shoulder thingy. Mum and I made the costume myself. I'll see if I can find some pictures for you if you like as your quite welcome to borrow it - at no charge :D I made it with stretchy cotton too so more then fits around the bump. It looked really good. Let me know if you're interested and I'll pop a photo on facebook if I can get my hands on one.

Not sure how you could do those, but that was 2 movies I thought of that had Pregnant in them! LOL

Thanks everyone! I had thought of some of those...But its hard to dress up as some of them..if you know what I mean!

84zsazsa - i think thats a great idea...but unfortunately some at mums party would be offended! But thanks for the giggle anyway!

K8y - I would love to see some photos - I would never have thought of that!

ummm...

Riding in cars with boys? You could wear an outfit from the 60's (ask your mum for inspiration lol)

:laughing: no offence, but the only other thing I can think of is Jabba the Hit from star wars... see here (http://sunbulli.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/04/jabba.jpg) if you're not a fan....

What about going as Nicole Kidman??? She is preg at the moment and you could dress up as her in bewitched???

How about Princess Fiona from Shrek the third?? Would mean getting some green face paint though :confused:

editted to add - you can actually just get shrek ears... so you can tell its shrek (fiona) without painting yourself green!

Ok dont take offence as NONE is intended (my warped sense of humour is gonna get me into trouble one of these days..lol)
HAve you thought of going as the Titanic (you know thats how big your going to feel) or even as King Kong (sorry once again its a size thing)

Hope you find some great ideas and have fun at the party.

Attack of the killer tomatoes

Red top over green leggings and you could cut some leaf shapes out of green crepe paper and pin aound your neck. ....or make a green leafy hat out of felt. Hubby could wear similar but would need padding:laughing:

Ummm.... OK Googled. Could you go as a "Mummy" - like wrap bandages around you and leave your belly sticking out.

Gosh girls...you have me in tears! What hilarious suggestions! And what variety - a cow , tomatoe, mummy, titanic...lol!

Now I have lots to think about!
