Well I got their early and I only had to wait 10 mins! Enought time to get a free bottle of water they were handing out and then get Ozzy in to get his photo taken.
I had a pink ribbon tied to my pram and I saw no one at all with ribbons on their prams. I even looked up and down the line for ppl but no avail!
Nevermind we did it and let's keep our fingers crossed!:fingerscrossed:

We got there just after 8.30am... didn't wait long at all! By the time I had the form filled out, it was time to move on down 'round the corner!
I had a gold ribbon on my pram, but didn't spot any others! Everyone probably wondered why I was staring at their prams!:o
Bodhi was a good boy, sat up and smiled for the camera...:D
...anyway, was an interesting way to spend the morning... something to do, something to get us out of the house!;)
I was there - in and out by 9am!! Forgot to take a ribbon though and didn't see any others with ribbons either.
Does anyone know when they will be announcing the winners???

Good luck girls :fingerscrossed:

i didnt realise this thread was here & started one in the model section
oscars mum i think i saw you - on my way out from having the photos taken i had to wait for a pram to come in & it had a pale pink ribbon on it & the mum was wearing a pinky colour but couldnt stop cause i had prams behind me - think it may have been you - i had a limey green top on
i got there at 9am & had to wait about 7mins before turning the corner - eliana was number 1206 - of course she was too interested in everything else but oh well it was an experience though didnt see pat rafter - spoke to the head guy from bonds (well what ever the head is of this casting stuff) it was all over so quick but had a good time wandering around the city - made the most of my $19 to park
i will have to contact bambini & ask if they know where the winners will be posted so we can see who won :D

No not me sorry:thumbsdown: . I had a dark pink ribbon on a bright red pram. And I was wearing a cream/camel colour dress.
Pat Rafter was the tallest guy their couldn't miss him, alot of the mum's were getting his autograph.
I spoke to the lady from Women's Weekly though didn't get to speak to Pat.
Melbee perhaps the mods can join our threads together!;)

the mum had blondish shoulder length hair - maybe i got the colour wrong & it was the outfit colour - i only saw it quickly & im pretty the baby was a boy
can't believe i didn't see pat!!! was too busy try to get eliana to smile - though ive already met pat when i lived in wimbledon back in 95 & even got a kiss from him (that wasn't just a peck on the cheek) :smiliedance:
its bugging me now that i didnt say hi - i was going to wait outside but security moved me along - funny having security at a baby casting!

im guessing 30ish - it was so quick & im sure the pram had three wheels & funnily enough when i saw it i thought of oscar - really wish now id said something - would have been roughly 9:15am that you would have been going in & i know what the mum was wearing was all one colour
I went with DD and my mum, arrived at 8.45, was done by 9am, very impressed at how quickly the line moved and how many people their already were (one of the staff their said they started at 8.15). DD was pretty quiet and shy when we were in the line but once we got our number (1181), she was happy and smiling, we had several of the bonds people come up to us before she had her pic taken and the guy who took her photo commented on how quick and easy it was to photograph her, and that she seemed 'ready' quickly!! (I'm sure they said lots of nice things to all the mums/bubs).
I didn't see Pat Rafter though (was he there later?), but as the others have said, it was pretty quick and I wasn't on the lookout for him. I think he's there because he's got a contract advertising Bonds. I saw clips, its going to be on Ch 9 news tonight.
We were lucky to get a pram park at King George Square carpark and did a bit of shopping, had coffee/snack afterwards, to get some value out of our $18 carparking fee
Good luck to all the bubhub mums and bubs, :fingerscrossed: they pick one of our lovely kids!!
Zenifa - I was there around the same time as you. I am just wondering if you were standing in front of me because there was a lady in front of me with (I'm guessing) her mum. I was in line with my 3 1/2yr old (he was wearing his cool sunnglasses!) and 9month old and we were eating hash browns!

I put a post onthe other Thread not knowing bout this one.. but to re-cap
We got there at 9.40am and by 10.30 we were all done - very fast I thought. They took 2 shots of both my boys, and the female photographer took the time to get bubs to smile in the 2nd shot which I thought ws nice.
But as I said in my other post - to get selected would be like winning lotto with the 1000's of kids they will see, but oh well nothing ventured nothing gained:)
Jinx - it could of been me, I had a brown top, and a patterned brown skirt and my DD was in a light green dress, pram was black and red and I had my mum with me. Sorry I can't remember you, I was looking at so many mums and bubs, checking out if there any ribbons on prams. Our number was 1181. Good luck :fingerscrossed: and let us know if any of your kids are chosen!!

WOW I'M SOOO EXCITED...! :smiliedance: :smiliedance:
Did anyone see 10 News... That was my bubs in the intro (in the pic behind the presenter) and they had footage of him sitting on the block getting photographed. I didn't even see the crew - I was to focused on trying to get my boys to smile..
We've been on the phone for the past hour letting family and friends know - we're all excited! I dont think this means he'll be selected but we are so chuffed he got on TV!:smiliedance: :smiliedance:
Well ladies sounds like I should have made the effort. I didn't go because I wasn't keen on standing in a line for a few hours trying to keep Porsha entertained. Seems like that wasn't the case.
Goodluck to all who did go....I hope a bubhubber wins!!

jinx, did you go to the coffee club over the road and were you with your husband. I saw a little boy at the coffee club with some pretty cool sunglasses on when we came out.
I also saw someone with a yellow/gold ribbon on their pram but they were across the road from me.

Thankx melbee70.. I know, I heard on the news that it's only 1 bub and 1 toddler.. Not good odds - but they will take some 'reserves' to Sydney just in case.
But as I said to be selected would be like winning Lotto (1 in 100000) - but how could you possibly choose from all the beautiful babes that would have been seen. Well I'll be making copies of the news tonight - that was his 10 seconds of fame... and I loved it:D
