Water torture

I'm going insane :banghead: The hot water tap in my kitchen wont stop running, not dripping, running. Worst of all the owner (we rent) cant come to fix it till this afternoon.

Luckily i'm going out at 10.30 so only 2.5hrs of torture left. That sound :banghead:

What can I do?

hmm turn up the music - so you dont go insane..

but I would also get a container (saucepan etc) to put under the tap... I just cant stand wasting water!!! :o

We recently had a dripping tap too, and if you place a container under the tap so the drips slide down the side, the noise stops... *ahh blessed peace*.

It's been a while now and so has likely been fixed (though knowing landlords, that might be a bit over-optimistic ... ) but I'd suggest just turning the water off at the mains.

Sorry, should have updated. Owner didnt arrive till after 5 :mad: so luckily we kept putting buckets there & filling up the bath for the night. All fixed, the washer was split :rolleyes:
