Any Kiwi Mums on Sunshine Coast?

We are moving to the Sunshine Coast this October. No real reason just a bit of an adventure, change of scene and heading for the beaches and good wheather. If there are any other Kiwi Mums living there I would love to hear from you and get your opinions and thoughts on life in SC. What do you like about it? How have you made friends?

We are like 40 mins from the Sunny Coast, but depending on how far up you are moving then time wise will be longer.
We moved to Brizzy June last year and I made some friends off this site :) The weather is a bit odd (I think) ya never know what the day will bring.

We are in the Caboolture area about half an hour from the Sunny Coast. We love it here, the opportunities and lifestyle make it worthwhile.
I did some voluntary work at my childrens school in order to meet other mums, I think you need to make a real effort to get out and about so that you don't become isolated.
