DS won't always eat what we do or we might be going out. Do you have a fail safe quick recipe that your 11 - 18 months old will always eat?

DS will always happily eat tuna pasta:

1/2cup frozen peas and corn (or 1/2 cup broccoli florets)
1 cup rissoni
1 sachet Heinz cook at home white sauce
1 small tin tuna in springwater

Put peas/corn (or broccoli) and pasta in saucepan of boiling water and cook until soft. Drain water. Drain water from tuna. In a bowl, put tuna and flake into flakes. Add cooked pasta and vegies. Pour on white sauce and stir.

Done. It makes a few meals.

Do you have an easy fast recipe like this that you make in times of emergency or when you are going out?

My DS loves mac and cheese. We get these organic pasta shapes from coles. Theres letters, dinosaurs or animals. I cook them up then in a bowl mix together a bit of cream, sour cream, cheese and a pinch of pepper (he won't eat it without the pepper:laughing:) then I mix in the cooked pasta and he always eats every bit of it. Its quite easy to add anything else too it like tuna or ham and some mixed veg. Pasta is just one of those things that is always eaten in this house.

I know this is a very old thread, but it's just what I'm after.
I am trearing my hair out with DS2 (25 months) and am gradually going to start restocking the pantry with failsafe ingrediants to see if it helps his horrible behaviour!

My boys love a ham and cheese omlette. So quick and easy and we normally have the stuff for it.

I just mix togther some eggs, milk, cheese and frozen veggies. Throw it all in the pan cook and flip and cut it into soldiers for them...

I also do a tuna mac and cheese as previous post suggested but make a white sauce with milk and margarine and cheese add some tuna and frozen veggies and bake in the oven. They love this too.

If im feeling really really lazy..its baked bean with some frozen veggies...haha they think its a treat works well for all.
