Community or Private?

Im a childcare worker that has just moved states. Before I came to brisbane I only worked for community based not for profit centres. Now that I have arrived im finding there seems to be a lack of these. I was wondering what parents thought of this? Where would you prefer to put your children?

Be very careful to check out the centre u want to work out up there, lots of owners only in it for the money - If u can't find community based, look for owner operators, or licensees that are on the premises alot - what state did u move from??? I can recommend a centre u might like to work at, p.m. me if you would like the name - it's on the northside!! Otherwise just be careful to check them out!!!

We always opted for comunity centers til we moved and there werent any. So we found a private centre that is great - the lady owns 5 centres and is very invovled in all and actually operates similar to a community centre. She is always there and has an interest in the kids - for her it is more than just the money motivating her
