Hello All

I am a 28 year old lezo and my partner and I have our first SI on Sunday the 27th Of April!:yelclap:

Very excited!

We have a "known donor", however we are not close. We will be using the old "5ml syringe method" with a fresh specimen. Our donor is constantly tested and we have bloods and STI tests available to us upon request.

Basically would like to hear from lesbian mums or mums to be who are in a silmilar circumstance

I am an endo sufferer so crossing my fingers to conceive OK. Doing Ovulation tests, monitoring cycle, etc.

Love to hear from anyone... Would like to feel like I am not the only one in this big wide world! :hugs:

xx

Hi to both of you. I work at a child care centre where we have two families made up of two fantastic mums..they have had success in ivf, both taking a while but getting there. One couple have two boys and the other 3 children made up of a set of twin boys and an older brother. So you are not alone...Good luck for you and your partner. Fingers crossed for both of you..your children will be very lucky to have two mums..

Hi there,

Good luck on your journey.

We conceived third try using the same method as you. However a couple of years ago we started off with that method, went to clinic IUIs then IVF all unsuccessfully (for 4 long years).

I have endometriosis and high androgen levels. I did have surgery a couple of years back to get rid of a lot of the endo and I think that helped heaps.

Anyway, good luck, it can and does happen. Our little boy will be born by elective C section on Wednesday 21 May (he is breech, that is why we are having the caesarean).

Hi Everyone

Just an update on our journey. We are doing AI at home on the 24, 26th and 30th in May.

Crossing fingers!

We want a "stinky" (our affectionate term for a baby!) so bad!
