1st child on IVF - when did you go for #2

Was just wondering what happened to others out there who had their first child/children with IVF when did you start thinking of #2 and did you go IVF again or did it happen the natural way???
Just asking as our DS just turned one and everyone keeps asking when #2 will come along? They dont know we did IVF....

Hi Rainny, my son is an IVF miracle baby also. I read your introduction and your DS was born on the day I found out I was pregnant!! April Fools Day!!! Im very clucky and would love to have another baby now, but we are going to wait till next year to start again. We will try naturally for a bit but otherwise its back to Melb IVF for us!!!:hugs:

My girl just turned 1, we are down reg at the moment...hoping for a FET soon!

We went back to the doctor when #1 was 15 months old and were due to start a FET the month after , but a miracle happened and we fell preg without anyones help! So our 2 are now 23 months apart - 1st IVf 2nd natural.

As for those well meaning people asking about #2 - for now jsut tell them you have decided that your family is complete and there wont be anymore.

I think we will try the good old fashioned way for a little while and if nothing happens in a few month back to Melb IVF for us as well..
