HI everyone
I have to share this with you all
Well Miki and I have had the BESTEST day today, A few days ago we picked up Mikis hip harness for her peadiatric walking frame, she has been a bit scared of it at first (to be expected seen as she tumbles almost everytime she tries to walk) As she didnt realise the harnesing would help her KWIM.
Well this morning after her shower she decided that she wanted to to go in her walker we had a great time she cruised all over the house with her pump and stuff in her basket she was so excited cruising from one end of the house to the other and back again, and every few metres getting stuck but stil not anoyed i just turned her a bit and away she goes.
Then her best friend Mitchel came over another two year old that she loves but is always unable to play with him as she runs around and plays, and miki generaly wants to sit on the couch and have me cuddle her, well today she stayed on the floor in her walker the WHOLE time, laughing and playing and chasing mitchel around the house> we had a few tears and spats as her legs get really tired and sore but then she realised that she can use the harness as a seat when her legs are hurting or if she looses energy, so she sat and played for a while moveing to difernt positions of the house when ever she felt like it.
After Mitchel went home she wanted cuddles so i got her out of her walker and she had cuddles with me i thought she was going to go to sleep (that would be even better lol) but no wanted to sit and relax in her baby swing and watch dora, so we sat and had a rest whilst watching dora.
After a episode of dora Miki decided she wanted to get out of her swing, so I got her all ready and we went out side for a play, My beuutiful little girl was chasing the bird and pointing at all the cars going past, I cant begin to discribe how it felt to just play and hang out with her and for Miki to have fun doing reglular 2 year old thing KWIM, Just symply the best day ever.
All afternoon we have been inside and out side countless times, a cumbo of her sitting and standing and walking, all of which she has done with no real assistance from me, as her walker alows her to both sit and stand, by 5.30 she was so tired and told me "bath" i then got all her meds ready and her feed line PJs everything ready while she folowed me in with her walker
by 6.30 she was fast asleep in her bed, she is absolutely exausted and coundnt even life her legs up whilst getting her dressed she was just so tired.
So i had to share our fantastic day with you all, After the day we had sunday and monday, and then to have such a wonderful day today just completly makes up for it, apart from the few seizures she had today, everything was PERFECT actulay even with the seizures still perfect perfect perfect

I hope this doesnt come across like im bragging, I just had to tel you all.
The walker she has incase any other SN mums are wondering is the Chrocodile r82 with the harnessing, for hip and lower trunk suport
