What contraception, if any, do you plan on using? (No more kiddies here for a while :p )
I am trying to decide between the mini pill and mirena...don't know yet though!
IUD here :)
i dont like synthetic hormones so the IUD sounds like the best thing for me :)
As I am not a b/f mummy :(:hissy: I guess I will just be going back on the normal pill.
Does anyone know when I can do that?

Oh Nic :hugs: I'm not a breast feeding mummy either anymore......
I think you can go back on the normal pill once your period returns....don't quote me on it but that's what I have heard.....
I think I'm going to get the "rod" in my arm thingy.....and make sure DP uses protection I don't want another one till we're married and Evie's at least 2 1/2 when second bubs is born LOL........I couldn't handle two under two lol.......

Yes, Jess is right in regards to the normal pill. :)
LOL Jess, you sure you don't want a loaner of a 2 year old to see what its like?
I am not having anymore until these 2 are in school! I couldn't handle any more nappies :barf: . I'm missing being pregnant so badly though and I get all sad and emotional when seeing other pregnant women. I miss my tummy.

Well I'm single and don't plan on getting lucky anytime soon so I guess that makes things a little easier on me! :p
I won't be using anything other than condoms and common sense though because I have personal beliefs that don't allow me to use any other form of contraception.
As I said though, no sex for 100 years for me!

LOL CK......mmmmmmmmmm maybe I should just to see how I go lol.....ha ha ha ha.......probably will change my mind then lol.....though I want two close together and then (if nature would allow) a third later on.....who knows but yes definitely not the next 2.5 years....
But I heard from a friend today that you can feel the "rod" in your arm like a harder part of your skin and can move it :S....
What ever I can use while breastfeeding which I guess would be the mini pill mix with a little common sense and condoms :)

im going the mirena im getting it in next week at my 6 week check i had it in after makaila and it was great but this time it will stay in for the 5 years
I haven't really decided what way I will go yet....before Jordyn I was on depo injection for over 5 years, and I felt that I gained too much weight (some gain and some loose) from that but it did work well for me.....
I'm with you Rosie - I just couldn't imagine DF being anywhere near that area of me for a while yet....poor DF  but he understands :)

I'm on the mini pill already. And my darling DH has said he'll get the vasectomy for my birthday in June :yelclap:
My sister had the Mirena thingo and we were chatting about it the other day...............she said she was in quite a bit of pain the day it was put in and she has no periods but light breakthrough bleeding every now and then which is a bit of a pain as you never know when to expect it.

I am a bottle feeder so my options are unlimitted...well so I thought :o...but no I am allergic to a particular hormone that goes into most contraceptives hence the infertility problems that where cause after years of being on them when it came time to have my children:(..
Anyway I finally found some thing I can take YAY.."Yasmin" which is a form of "the pill", I have been taking it for 5 days now and so far so good !!!
Oh and DH never being here is another sure fire way of me not having any little woopsy doo babies anytime soon
